I got the honor to design my friend Ella’s debut book of poetry and prose, centered on love, separation, and emotional reflection.

The visual language is inspired by a diary-like sensibility, shaped by the intimate and unfolding nature of the narrative itself.
I painted some poppies that are inspired by the wild flower fields of Gotland, one of the places where the story takes root, and serves as a gentle expression of affection but avoiding romantic clichés. Alongside this, I set the interior typography and all around design, shaping the book as a quiet, personal object meant to be read slowly and be lived with over time.Read more
